Take a step… and another…
Now you have begun your new journey.

….Spiritual sanctum in your home, having a sanctum now may seem like an exotic and unattainable idea. Yet having a sanctum does not have to be complicated nor does it need to be based on a religion or a set of ideas that does not relate to you in any way.
A sanctum can be a simple, personal expression of what you want to focus on right now. You do not have to build anything or take up lot of space.
You do not have to buy anything new or follow a complex set of instructions to create your sanctum.
We here at Life’s Turning Point have sourced many quality products for your Sanctum if you would like to adorn your own sacred space.
All you have to do is have a general understanding of what a sanctum is and the willingness to allow yourself access to this wonderful, ancient tool
of transformation. A practice where you can nourish and focus on you own self-love. Instead of giving to everyone else, this sacred time is about giving back to yourself.
At its most essential, a sanctum is simply a raised structure that serves as a resting place for meaningful objects. It focuses the eye and your mind,
providing a place for contemplation, stillness, tranquillity and if so desired, rituals. All of these elements can be quite simple.
One idea for a simple sanctum is a pot with a bulb planted in it, set on a box. This sanctum to growth can act as a reminder to you that all living things bloom in their own time.
A simple ritual might be to write down dreams you would like to see come to fruition on scraps of paper. You might place these scraps of paper in the
box, or under the flowerpot, or even in an envelope again positioned against the pot. This will become your reminder that..
As the flower grows, so will your dreams.
If you look around your home, you may find that you have already created a sanctum like arrangement without even really thinking about it, this is
something we humans do quite naturally. A candle, a decorative box, a feather, a picture frame of someone or something special to you, or a vase of particular flowers are just a few of the common household objects that lend themselves naturally to the creation of a sanctum.
Remember…It isn’t necessarily about the objects you place at your sanctum, it is a time you spend at this place each day, taking the time to be with items that truly resonate with you bringing you to a place of happiness, peace and complete stillness.
And most importantly…
Start your children from a young age, positive affirmations for children are a powerful way to help children develop a mindset of positivity, success and love for the unique special person they are…themselves.
Life’s Turning Point have sourced some beautiful cards available in our store to help support you to teach our cherished little souls the importance of them. More cards will be arriving over the next few months so keep an eye out.
And why not encourage your children to create their own Spiritual sanctum, teaching them the importance of their own special time. A place for personal sacred time alone.
